I believe the tools we use daily should be efficient and well-designed, yet many local banking apps are cluttered and unintuitive. This personal project was a direct response to that frustration. The existing app’s user experience created unnecessary friction for basic tasks like checking balances or making transfers.
I saw a clear opportunity to apply a critical design process to solve these real-world problems, not as a client request, but as a demonstration of how intentional design can transform a necessary tool into a seamless experience.

My design philosophy for this project was simple: radical clarity. The main goal was to empower the user by giving them immediate access to what matters most. I prioritized a prominent and readable balance display and a quick-action bar for the most frequent tasks: viewing history, transferring funds, and cardless withdrawals. I stripped away visual noise and redundant information. The objective wasn't to add features, but to refine the existing ones into a more intuitive and efficient system that respects the user's time and attention.

I implemented a sleek, dark-mode UI to create a modern and elegant feel while improving readability. The system uses a clean, sans-serif typeface and a minimalist icon set for immediate comprehension. Color is used intentionally and sparingly: a calming blue for personal accounts and a professional gold-yellow for business accounts, creating a clear distinction and a polished brand experience.
The entire visual system is built to convey security and technological competence, elevating the app from a simple utility to a premium financial tool.
