Challenge
Challenge
The core challenge wasn't just about finding a space; it was about the anxiety and friction inherent in urban driving. Drivers circle blocks, wasting time and fuel, with no reliable information on where to go. I needed to design a solution that cut through this noise. The task was to create an interface that felt like a guarantee—a clear, direct path from point A to a secured parking spot. My process began by deconstructing the user's frustration to build a tool that eliminates guesswork and gives back a sense of control.

Goals
Goals
My primary goal was to deliver a frictionless experience. This meant three things: providing real-time, trustworthy data on parking availability; designing an intuitive map-based navigation system that guides users with precision; and creating a seamless, in-app payment process.
I focused on function over fluff. Success wasn't about adding features, but about building a structured, reliable tool that gave users back their time. The design had to be an extension of this purpose: clean, fast, and effective, turning a typically stressful task into a simple, confident one.

UX Approach
UX Approach
I structured the user flow around a single, critical path: find, reserve, pay, and navigate. The architecture was intentionally minimalist to prevent cognitive overload. Users are immediately presented with a map showing available spots, color-coded for instant clarity.
I prioritized a one-tap reservation process followed by a straightforward payment screen, reducing steps to build trust and efficiency. This wasn't about creating a complex system, but about designing a simple, predictable journey that feels intuitive from the very first interaction. Every decision served the purpose of making the user feel in command.

UI Design
UI Design
The visual direction needed to communicate precision and modernity. I chose a high-contrast palette of black and lime green to ensure legibility and create a distinct, tech-forward identity.
The interface is clean, utilizing negative space and a strict grid to guide the user's eye without creating visual noise. Every icon was designed for immediate recognition, and the typography was selected for clarity above all else. This isn't just a "modern" look; it's a polished visual system where every element serves the function of making the parking process feel effortless and controlled.
