A new government mandate in El Salvador forced businesses into a complex electronic invoicing system, creating a significant technical hurdle. Companies were suddenly required to navigate JSON formats, digital signatures, and API integrations with the tax authority (DGII).
My challenge was to design a SaaS platform that would absorb this complexity entirely. The goal was to create a tool so intuitive that any business owner could achieve full compliance without needing to understand the underlying technical jargon.

My guiding principle for Flick was radical simplicity. I designed the invoicing process around clear, easy-to-fill forms that feel more like a simple web checkout than a government document. By creating reusable databases for clients and products, I eliminated repetitive data entry.
